Tilt & Turn
The Tilt & Turn timber window opens inwards providing both a tilt in and side swing open in facility. Fully Reversible
The advantage of reversible windows is the possibility to clean both sides of the window sash without going out of the building. It is very important especially in the case of multi-storey buildings where normally it is not possible to access the outer side of the glazing. Reversible windows also allow taking full advantage of the whole space inside the building. Opening such windows does not need the removal of curtains, blinds, plants or ornaments from window sills. Such windows can be opened at any degree for ventilation thanks to the friction brakes and restrictors. The hinges can be fully reversed if needed. Since the handle is fitted at the bottom of the window it allows the installation of such windows to be quite high, and come with the benefit of 'A' Rated double glazing. These timber windows are available in many combinations including fixed panes, side or top opening casements or complete with top hoppers where required. Vertical Sliding
This is the modern timber double glazed equivalent of the sash & case window, gravity is held back by a spring balance system which mimics the old weights and cords of a traditional sash and case window, without using the same amount of space, this window is available with tilting in sashes for ease of cleaning. The window will lend its elegance to any modern or traditional building. They come fully double glazed with a choice of 'A' Rated heat retention units and the sashes have an excellent draught proof system. As well as a natural timber this window can come fully factory painted with your choice of ironmongery.
